Sign Up for MC2 Summer Math Camps!

Current 4th to 7th graders are eligible to participate in our free summer camps! We will be awarding spots by running a lottery, so please register by today to have a chance of getting in!

Key Camp Facts

    • Participate either July 10th-14th or July 17th-21st9am-noon each day
    • Payton Prep, 1034 N. Wells
    • Two groups of kids each week: 4th and 5th graders; 6th and 7th graders
    • Experienced math circle teachers, fun math indoors and out, meet kids from across the city
    • Free, sponsored by the CME Group Foundation!

     

  •  Sunflower Project US - This Thursday evening in a short time we will have a fundraiser and hope Galileo parents and teachers can make it. You will enjoy meeting the the group of workers who started gave it all they had to start this project. Next year our dream is to extend this project and continue learning with the children that we can revitalize the soil. Or if it can be leave this to a parent who can be involved as my role may be at another school. Please come and meet the planners we will be next to the art school in the Smart Museum of Art.
  • CPL’s Spring Learning Challenge

    Read, Discover and Create over spring break as you explore inventions with Chicago Public Library’s Spring Learning Challenge! Kids through age 13 are invited to participate in the Spring Learning Challenge between April 7 and April 24, 2017.

    To complete the challenge:

    • READ (book, magazine or website) for 20 minutes a day for five days over spring break
    • Draw or write about an invention that you DISCOVER or CREATE

    Keep track of your progress in the Spring Learning Challenge Log. Return your completed log to any CPL location by May 1, 2017 to receive a prize!
